About Us
The Epsilon-Iota Alumni Council was established to support the efforts of the Kappa Lambda Educational Foundation to strengthen the bond of Brotherhood by sharing the many accomplishments across the Active and Alumni Zeta, and soliciting Alumni member donations of time, effort and dollars where necessary.
For most of us, our Fraternity experience ended the day we graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno. But in reality, we took an oath to support the Fraternity beyond our college years. In support of this ideal in recent years, there has been a small group of dedicated Alumni performing the ongoing work of ensuring that the Epsilon-Iota Zeta provides a critical component to the undergraduate college experience into the future, as well as a critical communications link between the Alumni and Active membership. This group was also instrumental in the creation of the Foundation and the extensive Chapter House Restoration Project.
Both the Foundation and Alumni Council are excited about the Zeta's accomplishments in recent years, and are eager share this and other accomplishments, including those in your life and career, across the Zeta. So we decided that the enhancement of our NevadaChops.org Web site was necessary to create a forum where we all can readily access this information. And in this electronic age, we are leveraging Web resources as our primary means of communication going forward.
The continued health and success of the Active Chapter depends on Alumni participation and support from across the Zeta, where necessary, for the good of the Brotherhood. So thanks to all of you who continue to stay in touch, review/update your contact information, keep us posted, and volunteer your time and energy or make a financial contribution whenever possible. And thanks in advance for your assistance and support.
